Green Cameron Redus Memory Candle
Dear Triple Moon Emporium customers--
Robert Cameron Redus, a senior honors student at the University of the Incarnate Word, was tragically shot and killed by a UIW campus police officer outside of his off-campus apartment in December of 2013. He was a wonderful person to be around, and also a personal friend of mine.
April 8th of this year would have been Cameron’s 25th birthday and I wanted to do something to celebrate his memory. Wanting to help the family in some way and honor his memory for his birthday, I came up with the idea of making a memory candle. This candle is a scented soy candle comprised of five different shades of Cameron’s favorite color: Green. After several weeks of obtaining the perfect materials and rounding up three awesome volunteers to help me assemble them, I’m proud to say that these candles are finally available for purchase.
These 2 x 6.5” pillars are scented with a wonderful blend of Sandalwood and Dragon's Blood. They also have small green lapel pins hidden in the soy wax for you to keep when your candle melts.
All profits will be donated to the Redus family.
These candles are to simply share the memory of a wonderful person and to shine a light during a very dark for everyone who knew and loved Cameron. We will be producing 100 of these candles (or Cam-dles as our team affectionately calls them) and once those 100 have been sold, we will NOT be producing any more. Thank you so much for your time and helping me share the memory of a fantastic friend.

NOTE: These candles ARE made by hand and take a considerable amount of time to complete. We are getting these made and distributed as quickly as possible, so please be patient to receive your candle, as it may take a few weeks for it to arrive. If you do NOT receive your candle by November 15th, PLEASE call Anna at 210-274-1393
DIRECTIONS FOR GETTING YOUR LAPEL PIN OUT OF YOUR CANDLE:
1. Light your candle and patiently enjoy the ambiance and fragrance. DO NOT DIG for the pin, this will ruin the integrity of your candle.
2. When you see your lapel pin making an appearance, blow out the wick.
3. Take a pair of tweezers and gently pull your lapel pin out of the wax.
4. Take a cloth and warm water to remove any extra wax or debris off of your lapel pin.
5. Enjoy your pin! =)
